Honeybush is a shrub, closely related to Rooibos, that grows in the Eastern and Western Cape regions of South Africa. It has a sweet flavor profile, with a honey-like aroma, but it is slightly less earthy than Rooibos. A great caffeine free option, this tea can be enjoyed on its own, or blended with other ingredients.
Early research has shown that honeybush's polyphenols (antioxidants) have the potential to be anti-inflammatory and beneficial to heart health.
