Black Tea

Yunnan Province is considered to be the birthplace of tea and is one of the most ancient tea-growing regions. 1700-year-old tea plants can still be found in the tropical forests. Unlike the English - who define this family of teas via the color of the leaves, which are blackened by the oxidation - the Chinese call them “red teas,” referring to the copper color of the infusion.
